I can do it by myself!

The poor girls were down with a viral infection… fever and dry cough. And what can be better than having a yummy dinner of hot pasta, an all time favourite around here. It’s hard to go wrong with a tomato-based anything I suppose, with tomatoes containing the natural MSG. But to have the secret weapon broccoli in the mix? Addictive!

Amelie was so happy to see her dinner that she grabbed a spoon and fed herself as if she had been doing it all her life.

OK, her left hand had to help out when the balancing act wasn’t so good. Here’s a shot of her nearly finished dinner.

As a result, she earned herself a tiny M&M for feeding herself all the way. She even helped herself to the broccoli in her mummy’s bowl. Wanna giver her a hug?

Here’s big sister feeling the stress. Hahaha.

Windmill!

Filed under: sisters — shelleychua @ 10:24 am

Here’s a photo of Amelie screeching with joy this morning…

Ah gong had bought the girls this huge windmill and clever Estelle decided that the best way of making it spin is to hold it in front of the fan… much to Amelie’s delight.

All that swirling colours, giggling and screeching is a sight to behold!

This is one of the games both girls enjoy that is highly encouraged by their mother… In fact, this might be the only game at the moment which is encouraged by their mother.

The rest of the games that both girls enjoy? Hmm… how about “bash the baby with a bolster”, “Rugby tackle 101 - legs”, “Rugby tackle 102 - torso”, just to name a few. And some contributions from Amelie… “grab and yank as much hair as you can”, “pinch as hard as you can with as little skin as your little fingers can grab”, “scream and screech into ears”.

Yeah, it’s pretty peaceful around here…
